Fr. Joe would like to thank the people for all their cards and good wishes. It will be quite a few weeks before he will be well enough to resume his duties.

Care of the Churches: Sincere thanks to the people of Town North and the Avenue, who took care of Ballinlough Church for January. Would the people of Cloonlee please take over for February. Our gratitude to group D, who looked after Granlahan church for January. Could group A please care for it during February. Group A: D.Quinn, Myra Sweeney, Mary Coffey, Tess Ronan & Maura Burke.

St. Patrick’s Dramatic Society are pleased to announce that the Phoenix Players, Tubbercurry are presenting their 3 act play, “The Black Pig’s Dyke”, by Vincent Woods on Saturday 10th Feb. at 8.30 pm. sharp in the parochial hall, Ballyhaunis. The Phoenix Players have been presenting plays for many years and have won many awards at festivals. A great night’s entertainment is assured. All proceeds to Mayo Autism.
Club and folk ceili dancing for adults will commence on Friday 2nd Feb. in the parochial hall, Ballinlough at 8.00 pm. Phone Michelle 087 9000185 for further information.
