Easter Greetings :- I wish a happy and holy Easter to all of you.  May the blessings of the Risen Lord be with you all.  I welcome home friend and members of your families who have come to spend the season with us. I hope you all have a pleasant and enjoyable time.
I wish to thank the many people who helped out in the different churches in the parish, in different ways and did so much necessary work.  I thank you all, your work is very much appreciated.

The Easter collection for the support of the priest of the parish is taken up at all masses this weekend.
The Missionary Sisters of Peter Claver would like to thank you for your generosity to their collection.  The total collected was €1412.14.
Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock:- The Tuam Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock will be on Sunday, May 2nd.  The ceremonies commence at 2.30pm.  The Archbishop will lead the pilgrimage.
Pilgrimage to Malta :- A Tuam Diocesan Pilgrimage (with spiritual director) to Malta will take place on July 6th for 7 nights.  Details and booking forms from John B. Mc Loughlin on 093 28337 or from Christine on 051 396448.
Each year Knock Youth Ministry holds a youth festival (18-35). The theme for this years event is “Walk by Faith” and will take place 25-27th June.  The programme incorporates talks, workshops, prayer and a friendly faith atsmosphere for all. The cost for the weekend is €70 which includes accommodation, food, etc. For  more details contact Helen Toner at Knock Youth Centre,  on (094) 9388100.
The annual Easter Commemeration for County Roscommon is this year being held in Granlahan Cemetary at the grave of Miko James Keane.  Parade will form at ball alley and march to cemetery preceded by the Raheen Pipe Band.  There will be tea and sandwiches available in the Hillside Tavern Granlahan.  A wreath laying service will take place at the monument in Ballinlough on Easter Sunday at 12 noon.
Stations:- Loughill, Carrick East, Coolatinny and Clydagh stations will take place at the home of Johnny & Nancy Flynn, Loughill on Tuesday 6th April at 10.30am.
Ballinlough / Granlahan Defibrillator group are holding their annual sponsored walk on Easter Monday, 5th April at 3pm, from Granlahan church car park to Ballinlough via Grange and Carrick.  Everybody welcome to take part in the walk.  It is an enjoyable and healthy event in the community.  Refreshments in the White House after the walk.
