Late Mrs Annie Hussey
The peaceful death occurred in her one hundredth year on August 14th of Mrs Annie Hussey, Ballinlough. Annie enjoyed excellent health up to a very short time ago and was very involved in community activities all her life. She was a great story teller and had a wonderful singing voice. Always ready to sing or recite at any social gathering, she was a life long member of her local church choir. Predeceased by her husband Tommy some years ago, she is survived by her daughters Mary, Clonsilla; Kathleen Battersby, Rathleigh; Angela Godfrey, Moate; Bernadette Craig, Drogheda; and Cora Barrett, Ballina; sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours. Her remains were removed from her residence on Monday, August 15th to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballinlough and following 1 p.m. Mass of the resurrection on Tuesday, August 16th burial took place to the local cemetery.
