Death of Jimmy Frayne

The peaceful death in his 91st year occurred on August 11th of Mr Jimmy Frayne, Station Road, Ballinlough. Jimmy was well known in the cattle trade and was a keen judge of an animal. He enjoyed his regular card games and a game of bingo up to very recent years. Jimmy was a hardworking man all his life and a good friend and willing neighbour whenever the need arose. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, he is survived and deeply regretted by his wife Mary (Baby), sons Tommy, Michael, Liam, Sean, daughter Ann O’Rourke, Castlerea, sister Mary Regan, Cloonsuck and Francis Beirne, Castlerea, grandchildren, sisters-inlaw, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives friends and neighbours. His remains were removed from Gaynor's Funeral Home, Castlerea on Saturday, August 13th to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballinlough and following Mass of the Resurrection on Sunday, August 14th burial took place to the local cemetery.
