The Tuam Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock takes place Sun 8th May commencing 2.30pm. Pilgrimage to Fatima from the Archdiocese on Sep 22nd for 7 nights. Tel:- (093)28337.

Following the success of the Art competition last year in conjunction with the local Ballinlough festival, we will be hosting the competition again this year. If anyone is interested in submitting an entry please call Fiona (086) 0704572 or Ailish (086) 8845652.Closing date is 28th May 2011.

Ballinlough/Granlahan defibrillator group wish to thank everybody who participated in, and contributed to, our annual fundraising walk on Easter Monday last. Thanks to the Hillside Tavern for their premises. The defibrillator group wish to invite people to train in CPR. New guidelines are now in place and instructors are now trained in these guidelines. We urge people to do this training, It is a worthwhile course and a life saving skill. People in the community are required to keep the project alive. Contact any of the committee members if you are interested.

Ballinlough/Granlahan Youth Committee will host a “Handbags at Dusk Evening” on Friday 27th May. If you provide a service which pampers and enhances women’s lives e.g. hairdressing, beautician, nail painting etc., and would like to participate in this special evening for women please contact Mary on (087) 945 3043
