Granlahan Christmas Lights:
The Christmas lights will be turned on in Granlahan on Saturday 13 December at 8 pm.  Santa will be in attendance with gifts for all the little ones.
Granlahan School.  The children of Granlahan school invite everyone to their "CELEBRATION OF CHRISTMAS" in Granlahan church on Thursday Dec. 11 at 8 pm.
Ballinlough Senior Citizens’ Annual Christmas Party would like to extend a warm invitation to all senior citizens to the annual party in Campbell’s Lounge on Sunday 14th December at 2 p.m.  A hot meal will be served and followed by live music, dancing and entertainment.  Please sign your name on the clip board left on the counter in the post office if you are joining us for the annual Christmas party.  Alternatively you can contact any of the committee to book your place at the party.

A Charity fundraising event for orphaned street children in Ethiopia with best selling author Lorna Byrne ("Angels in my Hair" & "Love from Heaven") in conversation with Mid-West radio's Gerry Glennon on Saturday December 13 at St. Aloysius church, Breaffy, Castlebar 3-5 pm.  Tickets €10 from  Downtown Records Castlebar (094 9022312) or Westport (098 26841)  All funds raised to Irish charity APA.

Free!  Christmas Parish Social at Campbell's Lounge on Friday 12 December at 9.30 p.m.
Free raffle, refreshments and novelties with music by Tommy Comer.  A great night for the people of the Parish to gather together, to enjoy themselves and to meet up for the festive season.  All welcome.
