Mass for Bereaved Parents:  There will be a special mass for all parents who are grieving the death of a child held in Knock on Sunday Nov. 10th @ 3pm in St. John’s Rest & Care Centre. Celebrant Fr. James Ronayne, Clifden.   All welcome.

Hospice Support Group meeting will be held on Monday 11th Nov @ 8.30pm in O’Connors, Ballinlough.   New members welcome.

Active Retirement meeting will be held in Time Out café on Tuesday 12th November @ 3pm.   All welcome.

Blood Donor Clinic, Thursday 14th November from 5pm-8.30pm, Connacht GAA Offices, Cloonacurry, Bekan, Claremorris.  Please ensure blood supplies are always available by giving blood regularly.

Carrick NS Cash For Clobber:  Carrick NS are taking part in the Green School Programme this year.   We are recycling old clothes to raise money for the Astro-Turf pitch.   Please drop bags of old clothes, shoes etc. into school at any time.   Many thanks.

Church Gate Collection:  The Ballinlough Astro-Turf Fund Raising Committee are holding a church gate collection next Sunday 17th November.   Work on the pitch has already started beside Carrick N.S.   All donations are very welcome.

ALERT:  Community Alert are hosting a public meeting on Friday 22nd Nov at 8pm in Campbell’s lounge, Ballinlough.   Representatives from Community Policing Section of An Garda Siochana and Bernard Kearney, Muintir na Tire will be in attendance.   This is a very important meeting and it is in your interest to attend, as the following will be discussed: cctv, text alert, security and safety in the home, how to deal with strangers at your door.  Everyone welcome and light refreshments served.


Public Meeting at Roscommon Mart on Monday night November 11th @ 8pm regarding loss of services of front line clerical staff at Roscommon District Agricultural Office, which will adversely affect the farmers in Co. Roscommon and indeed the West of Ireland.
