As the cemetery mass in Ballinlough Cemetery takes place at 2pm on Sunday 30th June, there will be no 12 noon Mass in Ballinlough Church on that Sunday.   I hope this is not inconvenient for anyone.

The Pro Life "Rally for Life " will be held on Saturday 6th July in Dublin at 2pm, congregating at the Garden of Remembrance.   Buses will be leaving from many parts of the diocese.   For further info : www.rallyforlife.net

Carrick NS Family Fun Day will be held on this Sunday 23rd June at Lough Harps football pitch from 2pm to 6pm.   Races commence at 3pm, all the usual side events and bouncing castles etc.   A great fun day for all the family.   All are welcome.

Art Exhibition and presentations of prizes will be held in Whitehouse hotel on Wednesday 26th June @ 9.15pm.

Granlahan Sports committee are holding a meeting on Wednesday night 26th June @ 9pm in Community centre.   New members welcome.

Time Out Café will open for The Gathering weekend.   Opening Friday 28th June through to Sunday 30th June from 10am to 4pm.   In celebration of the weekend, every 10th customer can pick a free treat from our lucky dip box over the weekend.   Our local knitting group will be dispolaying their craft work in the café on Friday and will be raffling a beautifully knitted doll on the day.  Entry to draw is €1, with proceeds kindly donated to the Youth Café.

Campbell Cup Fishing Competition on Lake O’Flynn, Sunday 30th June.   Fishing from 11 – 5pm.   In conjunction with The Ballinlough Gathering.

Ballinlough Gathering Committee would sincerely like to thank all those people who took part in The Gathering Mass on Sunday last and a special thank you to Fr. Joe who always makes everything so meaningful and who gave a blessing on The Gathering, and now we look forward to having a very enjoyable Gathering weekend.   Go raibh mile maith agaibh go leir.

The Bishops of Ireland are asking the faithful to offer their prayers at home and in the parishes of Ireland this weekend in support of Evangelium Vitae (The Gospel of Life).   This important initiative will be led by Pope Francis in Rome as part of the Year of the Faith.
