2011 Enrichment Evening for Parish Baptism team members takes place upstairs in the Hazel Bar & Restaurant, Main St. Ballyhaunis Tuesday May 24th @ 7.30 pm.

Br. Peter Roddy from the Franciscan Brothers, Mountbellew, will speak at all masses next weekend on the work of the Brothers in Kenya and Uganda. Your support of their African Mission will be greatly appreciated.

First Holy Communion: We congratulate the children from Granlahan N.S., their parents, families and teachers on receiving First Holy Communion this Sunday.

I wish to thank those who contributed so generously to the Easter Collection for the support of the Priest of the parish.

Ballinlough Environment Committee would like to thank everyone who took part in the recent “Spring Clean Evening” and everyone who contributed to the recent Church gate collection. We look forward to your continued support in keeping Ballinlough “Litter Free”, and looking clean & colourful. We will meet again Thursday 19th May @ 7pm to commence planting Summer plants around the village. All are welcome to come along and take part in the evenings work.

Ballinlough/Granlahan Active retirement group will be participating in the forthcoming “Bealtaine Festival”, held in The Abbey Hotel, Roscommon, May 18th. Painting, hand made rugs and a variety of other crafts will be displayed on the day. There will also be a photographic exhibition. A sketch of the traditional rambling house will be performed by five of our members.
