Aerobics Classes beginning on Monday 2nd March at 7.30pm sharp at Michael Glavey’s Community Centre, Ballinlough. Classes will run on Mondays & Wednesdays from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.

Choir Practice There will be a choir practice as usual in preparation for Confirmation on Monday 2nd March at 7.30pm in the Community Centre, Granlahan. Please support.

Care of the Churches

Ballinlough – Sincere thanks to the people of Cloonlee who cared for the church during the month of February, would the people of Mountain Upper and Lower look after it during the month of March.

Granlahan – Our gratitude to Group A who looked after the church during the month of February, I would be grateful if Group B would care for it during the month of March. Group B – Margaret McGuire, Mary Birmingham, Teresa Lynch, Bernie Ruane, Tracey McDermott & Maureen Burke.

Parish Pastoral Councils The third phase of the Pastoral Councils formation programme will take place on Tuesday 24th March from 8.00pm to 10.00pm in The McWilliam Park Hotel, Claremorris. The speaker is Donal Harrington and the training deals with “the place of the Pastoral Council in the life of the Parish”. All members of the Ballinlough and Granlahan Pastoral Councils are asked to attend.

Mass of Rememberance On Sunday 8th March there will be a special afternoon Mass of Rememberance in Knock for parents who have lost a child, at any age or in any circumstances. It will be held in St. John’s Rest & Care Centre, starting at 3pm. The celebrant will be Fr. Michael Gilroy, Ballina and all bereaved parents are welcome.

Cemeteries Please continue to support the policy and activities of Ballinlough & Granlahan Cemetery Management & Development Committees by tending to family graves and removing all debris, litter, withered flowers & shrubs and plastics from the respective graves.

Attention Young People Looking for something different? Join the Diocesan Youth Council on the second leg of the Tochar Padraig, from Aughagower to The Reek next Sunday March 1st. Gathering at Aughagower Church at 10.45am. Mass along the way. Bus return.
