Please pray for the repose of the soul of Jill Egan, Castlerea, wife of Tony Egan, formerly of Derreentigue who died recently.
I wish to thank very sincerely all who helped with the Christmas liturgy; all who cared for the church and decorated it so beautifully for the Christmas celebrations; all the readers, Eucharistic ministers, servers, the choirs, singers and musicians. I wish to thank them all for their generosity.
New Year’s Mass of Remembrance with ceremony of light will be offered for all who have died during 2006 on Monday 1st January: Granlahan church 8.00 pm. Ballinlough church 9.00 pm.
Next Saturday is the feast of the Epiphany of Our Lord. It is a holiday of obligation. Mass Times: Ballinlough Fri. 8.00 pm., Sat. 11.00 am.

Ballinlough Senior Citizen’s Christmas Party takes place on Sunday 7th January in the Parochial Hall, Ballinlough, commencing at 2.00 pm.
