Next Saturday is the Feast of the Assumption of our Blessed Lady into Heaven. It is a holiday of Obligation

I would like to see more people taking part in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. The time we spend in prayer is time well spent.
The times of adoration are: Ballinlough -----Mon. 2pm – 9pm
Wed 8pm – 9pm
Fri 8pm – 9pm
Granlahan ----- Mon 6pm – 10pm
I would appeal also for more people to volunteer for reading in the church in Granlahan and Ballinlough
Knock Shrine National Novena commences Aug 14th with 2 sessions daily at 3pm and 8.30pm except Sat 15th and Sun 16th when ceremonies commence with anointing of the sick at 2,30pm. This is the 130th anniversary of the Knock Apparition 1879 – 2009. The theme of this novena is “Seeds of Hope”
Please Pray for the repose of the soul of Margaret Barlow, England formerly Margaret Comer Tullaghane who died recently.
Granlahan Traditional Fair and Heritage Day Sun 23rd Aug at 2pm Animals, Games, Old Traditional Crafts, Strawboys and Traditional Music -- Ceili at the Crossroads and lots more. All are welcome.
