I want to thank all the people who attended the cemetery masses in Ballinlough and Teamhair to pray for the repose of the souls of our loved ones. Granlahan on Monday at 8.30pm. There was a huge crowd. Many thanks to those who helped organise the mass and prepare the altar and took part in the liturgy. May the Lord reward you for your goodness.

Care of the Churches :

Ballinlough - Sincere thanks to the people of Cloonlough and Rabbitboro who looked after the church during July. Would the people of Clooncrim and Carrick West care for it during the month of August.
Granlahan: - Our thanks to Group B who cared for Granlahan church during the month of July. Would Grup C look after it during the month of August. ( Mary Gormley, Molly Griffin, Christina Neenan)

First Friday Calls: As next Friday is the first Friday of the month I will visit the sick as usual.

Knock Shrine National Novena commences August 14th with 2 sessions daily at 3pm and 8.30pm except Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th when ceremonies commence with anointing of the sick at 2.30pm. This is the 130th anniversary of the Knock Apparition 1879 – 2009. The theme of this novena is “Seeds of Hope”

Granlahan Mass Times – As from Sunday August 9th the Sunday mass in Granlahan will be back to 12 noon again instad of 11am
