Diocesan Implementation Group – May ’09 update
Pastoral Councils: Donal Harrington spoke to almost 500 members of pastoral councils on “The place of the pastoral Council in the life of the Parish”.
Youth: Over 1000 people attended the Dawn mass hosted by DYC in Cong on Easter Sunday. Students from Second Level Schools had a day of celebration on April 23rd in Knock. Pastoral Ministry: Evening of reflection for Parish Baptismal Teams takes place Sun May 24th 3-5pm. Venue to be decided.
Liturgy: Information evenings take place Tue 12th May Hotel Westport, Tue 19th May Ard Ri, Tuam,
Tue 26th May Cararoe.

Pilgrimage to Knock from the Tuam Archdiocese takes place today. Ceremonies begin at 2.30.

The first Annual Diocesan youth pilgrimage to Croagh Patrick takes place Sunday May 10th.Tuam DYC invites young people to join them. Climbing @ 10am. Mass on the summit @ 12 noon. Barbeque afterwards.
