Mass Time Changes:- As and from Saturday evening May 2nd, 7pm mass returns to Granlahan Church. Saturday April 25th will be the last Saturday evening mass in Ballinlough for the present. This is in line with the agreement drawn up by the three pastoral councils in the parish two years ago.

Care of the churches:- Ballinlough:- We wish to thank the people of Carraghs and Clooninsla who looked after the church during the month of April, would the people of Clooncalagy and Meelick care for it during the month of May.

Granlahan:- Our thanks to group C who cared for the church during the month of April, would group D care for it during the month of May. Group D:- Noreen Coggins, Mary Raftery, Bridie Kelly, Mary Patterson.

Celebration of the Sacraments:- First Holy Communion. Ballinlough School – Sunday 3rd May 11am. Granlahan School – Sunday 10th May 12 noon. Carrick School – Sunday 17th May 11am.

Parish Pastoral Council:- Fr. Pat Farragher will speak to members of Ballinlough, Granlahan & Cloonfad Parish Pastoral Councils on Wednesday 29th April at 8.30pm in Granlahan community centre. All members are encouraged to attend.

Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock. The Tuam Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock will be on Sunday, May 3rd. The ceremonies will commence at 2.30pm. The Archbishop will lead the pilgrimage.

Ballinlough/Granlahan Defibrillator group held their annual walk on Easter Monday, thanks to all who took part and sponsored the event which was a great success. Revaluation for all trained in CPR is on Tues 5th May from 7-9pm in Kiltullagh Enterprise, Ballinlough. Please attend this ten minute refresher which is important.

Cloonfad Mazamba Partnership 6th annual sponsored walk takes place on Mon 4th May at 5pm. Sponsorship cards from Sean Brennan on (094) 9646118.
