Reek Sunday is on 27^th July. It has always been the traditional pilgrimage day when people climb Croagh Patrick. It’s a worthwhile pilgrimage for those who feel able to undertake the climb.

Volunteers Needed for Cana Ireland: A Christian support group for couples and families is seeking volunteers for their various programmes throughout the year including a week summer programme at Esker, Athenry July 12^th – 20^th. There are a range of roles available that can utilise your varied talents and skills, music ministry team, gourmet talents in the kitchen, or be part of the children’s groups eg with arts, games, crafts, sports and drama. Granlahan Sports Committee is holding a sports meeting on Tue 15^th July at 9.30pm in the community hall. New members welcome, items for the tombola can be left with Carmel Brady and Mary Morgan.

Monster Monthly Bingo in Dunmore Community Centre continues this Sunday 8^th June at 4pm. Jackpot of €500 and a total prize fund €1,150. Dunmore Community Centre will provide complementary tea, coffee & biscuits at the interval and all funds raised go towards the Town Hall Restoration Fund. All are welcome.
