February 11th is World Day for the sick.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Peter Kelly, formerly of Carraghs who died in Manchester and also for the repose of the soul of Michael Lyons, late of Clydagh who died in Manchester and for the repose of the soul of Jimmie Burke, Sand, who died recently.
Ms. Patricia O’Brien, Youth Officer in the Tuam Diocese will speak to members of the Foróige clubs of the parish on Friday evening 7 February 2014.

Catholic Schools Week 2014 begins on Sunday 26 January.  All this week our schools will be celebrating Catholic Schools Week.  This week gives everyone involved in Catholic education the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the contribution that our Catholic schools make to Irish life.  During this week we encourage you, as parents and families, to take time to reflect on what it means to have your child as part of a Catholic school community and to consider how you can support the work being done in your child’s Catholic school.

The Time Out Cafe is looking for volunteers to help out in coffee shop for approx 2-3 hours per week during the shop's opening hours of 10-4.  The coffee shop is supported by the Brothers of Charity Roscommon and is a wonderful facility to have in our community, so any spare time you have to offer is greatly appreciated.
