Ballinlough: Our thanks to the people of Marystown and Cloonlish who looked after the flowers during the month of November. Would the people of Town South look after them during the month of December.
Granlahan: Our thanks to Group B who took care of the church during the month of November. Would Group C take care of it during the month of December. Group C: Chris Neenan, Mary Gormley, Ann Hett, Geraldine Knight, Ann Cregg.
Week of Prayer: There is a week of prayer of Christian Unity from 17th-25th January 2014.
Annual Church Gate Collection in aid of St. Vincent de Paul will be taken up next week-end the 7th/8th December. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Granlahan Senior Citizens Christmas party will be held on Sunday 8th December. Mass at 2pm followed by party and entertainment.

“Christmas Lights” Fr. Joe will officially switch on the Christmas lights in Ballinlough after Saturday night Mass on 7th December. Following this, everyone is welcome to the Whitehouse Hotel for light refreshments where Enterprise Kiltullagh “Community Calendar 2014 will be launched. Donations from sale of calendar this year will go to Day Care Centre and Defribillator Group.
Advent Invitation: Parishioners are invited to an evening of faith enrichment. Join us on Tuesday 3rd, 10th and 17th December @ 8pm in Ballyhaunis Parochial Hall to view Fr. Robert Barron’s amazing DVDs on Catholism. Followed by refreshments. All welcome. Adm. free.
St. Joseph’s Cluster: A meeting of St. Joseph’s Cluster in Parochial Hall, Ballyhaunis, on Monday, December 8th @ 8pm. Reps from each parish/church are asked to attend.
Granlahan I.F.A. AGM will take place in Hillside Tavern on 4th December @ 9pm. Voting for election of new IFA president will take place on the night.
Ballinlough Senior Citizens Christmas Party: The Committee members of Ballinlough Senior Citizens annual party extend a warm invitation to all senior citizens to the annual party in Campbell’s lounge on Sunday 15th December @ 2.30pm. A hot meal will be served and followed by live music, dancing and entertainment. In order to ensure the success of the party, the committee must know in advance the names of those persons attending the meal. Only those who provide their name in advance will be guaranteed a meal. Please reply either to any committee member directly to the telephone numbers below or drop your reply into the box provided in the post office.

Christmas Tea Party fundraiser in aid of Ballinlough Community Astro Turf pitch.
Date: Friday 13th Dec. @ 8pm in Whitehouse hotel. Only €10 per person. All are welcome for a great night of entertainment.
Ballinlough Ladies Group are hosting a two evening Christmas Floral Arrangement Event in the Time Out Café on Sunday 1st and 8th December from 6-8pm. Come along, enjoy light refreshments while you see Kathriona demonstrate Christmas wreaths and table centre pieces. Adm. €5
