 Ballinlough Lake O’Flynn 10K Race committee in conjunction with
Ballinlough Gathering wish to thank the sponsors, athletes, stewards, Michael
Glavey’s Community Centre, Civil Defence, Garda Siochana, Roscommon Co.
Council, and all the people who gave their time and efforts so willingly and with
enthusiasm in ensuring the success of the race. Thank you to the ladies who took
the registrations, all who provided refreshments afterwards and to the ladies who
prepared it in Campbell’s.   A big thank you to all the residents on the race route
who turned out with water stations, refreshments and messages of support to all
the competitors.    Without you’re help, the race would not have been the great
success that it was.

Sunday 28th July Reek Sunday:  Mass on summit from 8am – 2pm, every half hour.   Beidh an Aifreann as 10am as Gaeilge.   Confessions on summit 7.30-2pm.
The Comboni Missionaries will preach at all masses in the parish on 13-14th July to tell people of the work they do in many missionary countries and to make an appeal for our prayers and financial help.

Ballinlough Gathering Committee would like to thank all the sponsors who contributed so generously to the Gathering, all the organizations who helped out in every way, by providing premises to host different functions and exhibitions, the volunteers and stewards who contributed to the smooth running of the many events, and who helped with the clean up afterwards, and especially to you the general public who came out to support the festival, making it a most enjoyable and memorable few days.   A special thanks to Fr. Joe and Cannon Liz McElhinney, Rector of Church of Ireland, Ballinlough, for their support and cooperation during the festival.

Granlahan Sports Committee are holding a meeting in Granlahan community centre on Tuesday night 9th July at 9.30pm.   Anyone with items for tombola please drop in to Carmel Brady or Mary Morgan.   Thank you.

Meeting of the Active Retirement Group are holding a meeting on Tuesday 9th July at 3pm in Granlahan community centre.   All members invited.

Blood Donor Clinic on Thursday 11th July from 5pm-8.30pm in Connaght GAA offices, Cloonacurry, Bekan, Claremorris.   Help ensure essential blood supplies are always available by giving blood regularly.

MABS: MoneyAdvice and Budgeting Service have a clinic the first and third Tuesday of each month in Roscommon Women’s Network, The Old Mill, Castlerea.   Appointment: 076 1072720
