St. Joseph’s Day Pilgrimage at Knock Shrine 20 February:  Men in particular (but not exclusively) are encouraged to bring their families to Knock on what is known as St. Joseph’s Sunday.  This is part of the churches efforts to promote the essential need for fathers to pass on their faith to their children. 
Cash for Clobber:  Carrick N.S. is collecting old clothes, shoes, bags etc. as a fundraiser.  Please drop bags into the school any day.
Cura Pregnancy Support Services, an agency of the Irish Episcopal Conference provides the following services:

  • Information on rights and entitlements.
  • Counselling after abortion.
Cura also operates crisis pregnancy counselling for babies’ fathers and other family members and a school awareness programme.

Dunmore Community School open evening for incoming first year students will take place on Thursday 3rd March 2011 at 7.00 pm.
