There will be a number of Priests hearing confessions. I would encourage as many people as possible to avail of this Sacrament. Confessions will also be heard after Stations of the Cross on Good Friday.

Good Friday is a day of fast and abstinence.

Easter Collection: The Easter collection for the support of the Priests of the parish will be taken up Holy Saturday night and Easter Sunday morning.

First Confession: We congratulate the children from Granlahan National School and Ballinlough National School who celebrated their first confessions on Tuesday and Wednesday last, also their parents and teachers. We pray God’s blessings on all of them as they prepare for their First Holy Communion.

Trocaire Collection: Please return all boxes to the church on Holy Thursday.

Please Pray: Please pray for the repose of the soul of the late Jamie Doyle, Son of Declan Doyle, Churchboro, Ballinlough who died during the week.

Please Pray: Please pray for the repose of the soul of the late Helena Curran, Mallow, Co Cork, Mother of Bernie Neenan, Granlahan who died during the week.

Volunteers ‘Washing of the Feet’: We invite teenagers to take part in the ‘washing of the feet’ on Holy Thursday. If anyone wishes to take part give me your name.

Ballinlough/Granlahan Defibrillator Group are holding their annual sponsor walk on Easter Monday 13^th April, leaving Ballinlough Square at 3pm to Granlahan. Refreshments in Hillside Tavern, Granlahan afterwards. Everyone welcome to take part in the walk as it is a community event, with or without a sponsor card. All are welcome so please support.
