Lough Harps FC Annual General Meeting will take place at 8.00pm on 21st April in the Claffey Suite in the White House Hotel. All existing & new members are encouraged to attend. The club will host a race night in Campbell’s on 28th April to raise funds for its training and development program. Multiple Sclerosis Sincere thanks to the collectors and all of you who contributed so generously to last weekend’s church gate collection. The amount collected was €530.
Cloonfad/Mozamba Partnership The annual sponsored walk for the Cloonfad/Mozamba project will take place on Monday May 7th at 5.00pm. Sponsorship cards are available from Michael or Sean Brennan. Cloonfad have already funded the building of two maize mills over the past three years, a third one is currently being planned. We ask for your generous support for this very worthy project. “For I was hungry and you gave me to eat” (MT 25:31-46)
Divine Mercy Sunday – April 14th & 15th Vocations Awareness Week 2007 begins this week, together with parishes across Ireland. Giving us the opportunity to reflect on and give thanks for the rich variety of ways that men & women live their Christian vocations in today’s world. Next week, 28th & 29th April, reflections will be on and prayers for vocations to the priesthood & Religious Life will be held.
A Pilgrimage of Thanksgiving at Knock Shrine This is the 40th Anniversary of the Charismatic Renewal and being organised by Monaghan Charismatic Prayer Group and led by Fr. Ronnie Mitchell. Commencing Friday 24th August at 6.00pm, concluding Sunday 26th August. Theme “Do whatever he tells you” (John 2-v5). An invitation is extended to everyone to join with us in this weekend of thanksgiving.
First National Grandparents Pilgrimage Will be held on Saturday 22nd September at Our Lady of Knock Shrine. Pilgrimage will be led by Dr. Michael Neary, Archbishop of Tuam. Key Note Speaker, Dana.
