Celebration of the Sacraments:
His grace the Archbishop, Most Rev. Dr. Michael Neary will confirm our children on Friday 9 March. In preparation for this Fr. Benny McHale, Dunmore will speak to the parents of the children being confirmed on Thursday 25 January at 8 pm. in Granlahan Community Centre. The children will attend a day of preparation for Confirmation in Ballintubber Abbey on Wednesday 7 February.
First Holy Communion will be celebrated as follows: Sunday 29 April 11 am. Ballinlough National School. Sunday 6 May 11 am. Carrick National School. Sunday 13 May 12 noon. Granlahan National School.
The Roscommon Underwater Search and Rescue Unit would like to thank most sincerely all who contributed to our annual church gate collection recently held at Ballinlough Church. The amount of €197 was collected. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Ballinlough Senior Citizen’s Christmas Party: Our sincere thanks to all who attended the party. It was a most enjoyable occasion. Our gratitude also to all who helped in any way and to all our generous sponsors.
The usual card game takes placed in Granlahan Community Centre Monday nights at 9 pm.
