Care of the Church:- Ballinlough Sincere thanks to the people of Coolougher, Churchboro & Fort Augustus for looking after the church during the month of Oct. I would be grateful if the people of Marystown & Cloonlish would care for it during the month of November.

Jack & Jill The Jack and Jill Community Playgroup will host their annual Halloween Disco on Tuesday 31st October, in The White House Hotel, Ballinlough, 6pm – 8pm. disco by Freebird. Prizes for best dressed. We ask that all children are accompanied by an adult.

Indulgences: 1. From 120’clock noon on Nov. 1st until midnight Nov. 2nd, all who have confessed, received Holy Communion and prayed for the Pope’s intentions(one Our Father and Hail Mary, or any other prayer of one’s choice) can gain one plenary indulgence by visiting a church and there reciting one Our Father and the Apostles’ Creed.2. The faithful who visit a cemetery and pray for the dead may gain a plenary indulgence applicable only to the Holy Souls on the usual conditions once per day from Nov. 1st – 8th. The conditions mentioned above apply also for this.
