The Ballinlough Gathering 2013 is making a contribution to the Cemetery Mass which will be held on Sun. 30^th June @ 2 p.m. The Gathering Committee would be delighted to hear from any person who would like to participate in the mass. There will be Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament in all our Churches, Ballinlough, Granlahan & Cloonfad this Sunday 4pm-5pm at the request of our Holy Father, Pope Francis.
      Next Friday is the first Friday of the month, I will visit the sick & house bound as usual: 10.30 am.Ballinlough.     11am. Granlahan.   2.30pm Cloonfad.

We wish every good luck & success to all our pupils & young people who are doing examinations and preparing for them in all the different schools, colleges & universities. We pray and ask God to help them prepare and help them during the examination itself. May God continue to guide and direct them now and always.

The Volunteers from the Ballinlough Day Centre would like to thank everyone who supported the church gate collection last weekend. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.                                                                                                              Arts Competition: Deadline for entries has been extended to Friday 14^th June 7pm.-9pm. in The Time out Café. Application forms available at Youth Café,    €3 per entry. Categories are art, photography, creative writing & poetry, for all age groups. The theme is “The Gathering”. Exhibition of entries and presentation of prizes takes place Wed. 26^th June in The White House Hotel @ 9.15pm.

St. Patricks Drama Society, Ballyhaunis, in association with meals on wheels, Brickens, will present the hilarious comedy play “Try anything twice” in Parochial Hall, Ballyhaunis, Mon June 3^rd @ 8.30 pm. I wish every success to the gatherings that will take place in the Parish during the next few months. I hope there will be a good response to them and that they will be well supported as a lot of hard work and effort has gone into the preparations. I wish them all the best, may their gatherings be times of enjoyment and benefit to everyone.

The month of May is a month specially dedicated to Mary the Mother of God and there are always special devotions to her during this month.
