Michael Glaveys intermediate ladies team remain unbeaten
Michael Glaveys intermediate ladies team remain unbeaten in the senior / intermediate league when beat senior team Castlerea by 2-12 to 2-3 in Ballinlough on Saturday July 3rd . This was a great performance from a team who were missing a number of players but the young debutantes did well on the day. Glaveys led by 0-7 to 0-3 at half time but a goal early in the second half by Kerry McNulty edged them into a strong lead and when Siobhan Cummins goaled again shortly afterwards the game was over as a contest. Strong performances from Aileen Keane, Sheena Brennan, Joanne Ronane, Caroline McGuire and Pamela Keadin gave the Kiltullagh girls a strong advantage and a number of young players like, Ciara Horan, Ailish Cregg and Michelle Neenan did well in their first game at this level.
